About the Ravens

Building character through hockey in South Surrey & White Rock since 1966.

More Than a Game

The Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association exists to provide every child in South Surrey and White Rock the opportunity to play, compete, and grow through hockey. We are committed to developing not just skilled players, but confident, respectful, and community-minded individuals.

Inclusion

Hockey is for everyone. We welcome players of all skill levels and backgrounds, from first-time skaters to elite competitors.

Safety

The well-being of our players comes first. We follow all Hockey Canada safety protocols and continually invest in trained safety personnel.

Community

We are a volunteer-driven association rooted in the South Surrey and White Rock community — run by families, for families.

Development

From Timbits to Midget, we offer structured development pathways so every player can reach their potential on and off the ice.

Since 1966

The Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association has been a cornerstone of the South Surrey and White Rock community for nearly six decades. What began as a small local program has grown into one of the most respected minor hockey associations in BC, producing players who have gone on to compete at the BCHL, WHL, and NHL levels.

Today we serve hundreds of players across all age divisions — from our youngest Timbits learning to skate, to our top-tier teams competing for provincial championships. Our home rinks, dedicated volunteers, and passionate coaching staff make the Ravens experience one families return to year after year.
