Registration opens: May 1
Returning player registration opens on May 1 and remains open until all divisions are full, or until the new season starts. Register via the button and login through TeamSnap. Players who did not participate in the most recent minor hockey season are considered new players.

New player registration opens on May 15 and remains open until all divisions are full or the new season starts. All new player registration packages must be e-mailed to info@semiahmooravens.ca as one (1) singular PDF. Email subject format: BIRTH YEAR - LAST NAME, FIRST NAME. Early or incomplete packages will be discarded.

Confirm Eligibility
Confirm you reside within Semiahmoo Minor Hockey's residential boundaries.

Review & Accept Policy Information
Review and sign the refund policy.

Complete PCAHA Player Registration Form
Fill out Form 141-PCAHA.

Include Birth Certificate
Provide a copy of the player's birth certificate.

Include Proof of Residency
Provide at least three (3) proof of residency documents with parent's name and address: ONE full-page utility statement (BC Hydro or Fortis Gas) and TWO additional statements (City utilities, BC MSP invoice, bank/credit card statement, car insurance + driver's licence, property insurance, property tax bill, income tax assessment, child tax credit, or school registration).

Required if transferring from another association ($25.00 admin fee).

Registration Fee
After documents are processed (2–4 weeks; international students 2–4 months), you will receive an online payment link (credit card or e-transfer).
International Player Registration
Permanent Residents or Canadians Born Abroad
Supply standard new-player documents plus:
- IIHF Unlimited Transfer Card Request
- Under 18 Player Transfer Application LOA
- US to Canada LOA Transfer
- Permanent resident card or certificate of Canada citizenship
- Copy of valid passport
- Confirmation of primary medical insurance (PHN or Care Card)
International Students (Student Visa)
Supply standard new-player documents plus:
- IIHF Unlimited Transfer Card Request
- Under 18 Player Transfer Application LOA
- US to Canada LOA Transfer
- Copy of current passport
- Valid study visa/permit valid through end of hockey season
- Confirmation of school registration for current school year
- Confirmation of primary medical insurance

Registration fees do not include individual team fees or rep tryout fees (which are additional). Rep tryouts are optional; if you declare intent to tryout during registration, the fee is non-refundable. International students are not eligible to play or tryout for rep hockey.

FAQs
Does the fee schedule cover everything?
No. Registration fees do not include team-specific fees for tournaments and other expenses. Fees can range from under $100 to upwards of $4,500 per person depending on the team and division. U7–U9 and U11–U18 Recreational C teams can expect lower fees; rep teams can expect higher fees.
Are players required to tryout for rep?
Rep tryouts are optional. If you declare your intention to try out, the tryout fee is non-refundable.
Is there a charge for registering late for rep tryouts?
Yes — if you register for rep tryouts after August 1, an additional $100.00 will be charged.
