Semiahmoo Ravens Hockey Celebrates 60 Years of Ravens Pride

Semiahmoo Ravens proudly celebrated its 60th Anniversary with a bright sunny day bringing together the players, coaches, officials, families, volunteers, and partners who have helped shape the association over the past six decades. It was a great day to gather as a Raven Community, celebrate the association’s rich history, and recognize the people who make Ravens Hockey so much more than a game.

The festivities offered something for everyone, with games, activities, prize draws, cotton candy, popcorn, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends, teammates, and families. One of the biggest highlights was watching members take aim at dunking their coaches, creating roaring laughter, unforgettable moments, and a little friendly competition! It was a wonderful reminder that while hockey brings us together on the ice, it is the fun, friendships, and shared experiences off the ice that make our community so special.

Our partners also helped make the day even more memorable, offering opportunities to enjoy prizes, treats and massages while celebrating alongside the Ravens family.

Semiahmoo Ravens extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this incredible milestone and to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 60 years. Your continued dedication, enthusiasm, and support are what make this association such a special place to belong.

A special thank-you goes to our Premier Partners: Scotiabank, Catalyst Kinetics, Beyond Braces, Midland Appliance, and Landmark Properties, for their generous support in helping make this celebration possible.

And thanks to all our Community Partners who activated on site: The Hockey Shop, Tacofino, Buckys Pizza, White Rock Whalers, Save On Foods, The Abbotsford Canucks and Sources Food Bank.

Thank you for being part of our story, for showing up, and for making Ravens Hockey the community it is today.

Once a Raven, always a Raven!
